Hey everyone! Welcome back to my corner of the internet. Today, I’m sharing something special. Instead of a typical unboxing, I’ll show you exactly how I’m putting items from Cloth & Paper’s September Intention Box to use in my daily life. This box is packed with tools to boost mindful productivity using The Kanban Method. If you’re curious about how to make the most of your subscription, keep reading!

What’s Inside?

Here’s a quick overview of what we received in this month’s box:

  • Three task rolls
  • Task roller
  • Kanban task tracker insert
  • Arrow stickers
  • Project half sticky notes
  • November pop-up calendar
  • Harmony reflection prompt card
  • A couple of pens
  • Checkered dust bag

Task Roller

The task roller comes with three sets of task rollers: a dot grid, a to-do list, and one more that I can’t remember. Here’s how I’ve been using it:

  • End-of-Day Routine: I jot down my next actions for the following morning, so when I come back to work the next day, I know exactly what to focus on.
  • Productivity Boost: This habit has been immensely productive. It prevents me from getting lost in my to-dos and helps me jump right into work.
  • Ease of Use: Super easy to use; it sits on my desk right by my keyboard. I love the modern look it adds to my workspace.

Kanban Inserts

These inserts are already in my planner and can be used for many weeks. Here’s my method:

  • Brain Dump: I use them to brain dump all weekly tasks related to home, content creation, my kids, and random things.
  • Categorization: Tasks are categorized by high, medium, and low priority.
    • High: E.g., editing a video for a deadline.
    • Medium: E.g., cleaning the house.
    • Low: E.g., labeling dividers or dyeing my hair.
  • Flexibility: The inserts don’t have labels at the top, so you can customize them however you want.

Project Half Sticky Notes

These are super helpful for breaking down larger tasks or projects.

  • Content Planning: I use them to break down my content planning for the September box video.
  • Task Tracking: I can mark tasks as to-do, in-progress, in review, or complete, and even add dates.
  • Versatility: Stick them in the front of my planner as a constant reminder.

Reflection Prompt Cards

This month’s theme is “Harmony.” Here’s how I’m using the reflection prompt cards:

  • Personal Task Cards: I’ve been moving my personal task cards to the reflection cards.
  • Organization: They’re segregated into financial, personal, and errands/tasks categories.
  • Planner Addition: I store them in the back of my planner.

Arrow Stickers

I’ve been loving these arrow stickers in Merlot color for fall!

  • Sizes: They come in both large and small sizes.
  • Planner Use: The small ones are perfect for marking important dates in my monthly and weekly planners.
  • Quality: Removable without residue; they’re perfect for planning, especially in the fall.

November Pop-up Calendar

The small but functional calendar is another great addition.

  • Desk Accessory: Keep this on your desk to quickly glance at the month ahead.
  • Habit Tracker: Use it as a habit tracker by highlighting or crossing out the days.

Leather Cloth and Paper Bag

This sleek bag is perfect for on-the-go organization.

  • Usage: I use it for highlighters, pens, and stickers.
  • Portability: Just stuff it in my purse or tote bag, and everything stays in place.

The Pens

This month’s box included two awesome pens:

  • Pilot V5 Hi Tech Point 0.5: A fine tip pen with a cartridge system. Great for writing sharp and clean.
  • Schneider Skyten: A comfortable ballpoint pen that’s reliable for everyday use.

Final Thoughts

One of the things I love most about these boxes is that they are not just pretty; they are actually functional. For example, the Kanban inserts really help with task prioritization, and the project half sticky notes are perfect for breaking down larger projects.
